It’s take three!

(You told me I had to tell you the truth. Why?
I've been lying to you, yeah.)
It’s take three, yeah. A lot of it –a lot of it
I’m trying to hit it all.

Add another note...
The quotes are bound to appear and dissapear
It's thick in the smear...
I use to press it
Glued on to your neural tubes
The aura: blue
Like LED– a crystal vision
My center liftin'
Felt the jam and got inspired
Write it down and read it later
Put the pen to paper, I’m–
Over-grown and off the vapors
See you once and see you later
Do me a favor:
Check your man's totality
For the faculty
Just another day toe-taggin' these
Cat/rat trajedies– we magically
Out-dance catastrophies
And add trophies
From performances so dope for free...
I deserve
A stack of hundreds for the skills I have
Developed in the lab
While working on a Mac
Learning apps
Bitch give me half! aaah
It's happenstance
We met each other on a distant path
The lithograph describes
The fitness track
So figure that
Just a pen and pad
So take a stab
Whipped with a liquid staff
Neutral and uninspired
Went and conspired
To shun communities like you and me
I tried to speak the spooky truth to you
Like how much you get paid
To send innocent youths to prison groups
Who gets a second chance
To fascinate the fam and
Over look out on the land?
Fathom that! yah
I own as far as I can see
It's all for me and you and us
It’s palpable and I’m living natural
No Pop-Tarts in my pantry bro
I’m out here gathering nuts
To save for chilling gusts
It's up to us to push the higher rungs
Ring the bell– let's start the revolution
When I say so
So say “go"
Un momento
You don’t get a say so
It’s not an option to say "no" to
Rockin' on the spot then
Walkie talkin’ pop-spin
On a himple Hip Hop gem
(simple Hip Hop gem)
…On and on,
Take a step ahead before you dead
Paralyzed mind
That's reluctant redirection
yeh
So look around!
Whey-are you now?
Look ar–a–
Where are you now?
(Can I live?)
(I don’t give a fºck about your views–
This is paradise
I don’t care to listen to you spew
So don’t share it twice
Do not talk my ear off
Didn’t ask you for that bºllshºt
I might hit the shooting range
Empty out a full clip
I live here in Riverwest
It’s horrible in many ways
Walk around at night time
Sweetie, I don’t feel safe
I’m just another white hippie
Been looking for MDMA
Send me away
I’m clever as ever
You never thought
I might sacrifice it all
Huh? yeah

SMELLINGTON PIFF lyrics copied via Genius.com
Ya ya ya
I've been raised in the muck since I was a ickle pup
In double decker buses caravans and trucks
With dreadlocked hippies and pissed off punks
Located where it stinks of the pungent skunk
I never went school I coched and smoked bongs
Hot box my home like I set off a smoke bomb
I'm never living in them council flats
I'm never giving them no council tax
All I need is weed wood food and gas
A roof above my head and a bed to crash
If you lock me out bolt croppers chop the locks off
Chat shit my big brothers will knock your block off
The cheapskates and their second hand knockoffs
Arrive in a convoy two miles long you can't stop us
Call the coppers I know my rights
Got to take us to court so we're here for the night
We're coming from a place called site
We live in wagons trucks buses and caravans
I'm living in a place called site
We drive in clapped out bangers and camper vans
Chased by the pigs and hated by the masses
This is how we live robbing skips and dodging taxes
Classed beneath the lowest classes
No cash flow growing outdoor plants and pressing hashes
Conflicting with gobby rednecks and snobby fascists
To ever get us off your premises you better bring a bulldozer
Never stopping the coppers want us to pull over
In the van with the lads nabbing a new roamer supreme
Covered in chrome and cream she tows like a dream
Passing though your town like a stream
If homes where the heart is I live on my sleeve
I represent where I'm from and speak for what I believe
For starters I'll have your guts for garters
If you ever mess with my extended family
But hate breeds hate and I'm just trying to love
Rest in peace to my friends in the heavens above
We're coming from a place called site
We live in wagons trucks buses and caravans
I'm living in a place called site
We drive in clapped out bangers and camper vans
I was raised on site where the piss heads fight
The dogs bark and bite it gets dark at night
So spark a light

Information on "The Great Dunzo (EP)" –titled by br( )ke
Hip Hop producer br( )ke and I formed a fast friendship over SoundCloud messages and soon I was sending him my acapella stems for a nearly 11 minute song I'd recorded over a beat he'd provided, aptly called "dunzo ammo", which I didn't initially like! With those lengthy vocal stem files, br( )ke took several months splitting, splicing, arranging, matching, blending my raps into completely new instrumentals, grooves, and textured soundscapes. He surprised me when I heard the songs back, completed, in fundamentally new form and structure. Yet, to my delight, the integrity of my vocal takes weren't lacking in the new mixes, rather, were enhanced by br( )ke's keen attention to sonic detail!
The 'ammo' idea, presented by br( )ke's original beat title, provoked me to Go Real Hard for this feature, like "hit[ting] the shooting range" to "empty out a full clip". Digging up skeletons, I'd combined 7 separate lyric-files from my digital notebook stockpile, written casually between 2013 and 2017.
Quirky, dumb lines like "You might just pass the test, brother Slugsworth's watching/ Wonkavision never seen a slug worth watching," bring me way back to a time when I would drive the college mail-truck on the daily route, pass under Milwaukee's Marquette Interchange and park by the train tracks to write down the fun/far-out bars I'd channeled-in while "working". 2013, this was the sacred, manic time between letting go my father and getting marked with a fictitious bipolar disorder diagnosis.
The more recent ammo-lyric-files had been written, perhaps after a long work-day at the metal stamping co., in the special hours of afternoon, reading, resting, thinking, praying... or maybe late night on the Riverwest porch, in a thick, aggressive haze of frustration with Ego shadows bouncing playfully 'round my conspiracy-ridden, blame-hungry, stoned+stabilized "imagination".
Having br( )ke approach the tall labor of mixing/mastering this project to such crystalized form for the final "The Great DUNZO (EP)" was a beautifully healing experience from my angle. Why "healing"? Much of the ammo-lyric-files I'd used for my lyrics were so very charged with near-malicious and sarcastic vibratory emotion. Rapping ammo-lyric-files 1-7 all together, reading them off computer paper for ~10 min, was a seriously intense process, considering the frequent wickedness contained in purposely provocative phrases. Amazingly, the darkness was quelled, not only by my seasoned, 2018-view, but by br( )ke's as well!
With lines like: "I tried to ring the alarm/ I mean no harm" written 'round late 2016, I'll still ask myself: ring What alarm, for What reason? It usually feels like no alarm will ever wake the sleeping. And besides, I only "tried" to ring it, but really then, didn't ring it! Perhaps I need the sleeping to stay sleeping... bless them! Yes, "cryptic" might be a way to describe Dunzo's poetic, often. And there are people who hate "cryptic" and people who tolerate "cryptic". So what if it's cryptic + wicked, I'm beginning to think that's okay. br( )ke helped make it okay... and I'll be grateful to him and this invaluable work, continually.

"return to sender" is utterly heartbreaking. it found it's way deep into my stomach ancestral dna: REALLY VIBING. if dh porter has something to offer this world, i'm identifying he's gifting a bitter commentary on the systematic hijacking of friendship. if i can tell one thing (and i hope it's close to the vision), it's that he doesn't blame his friends for disappearing. he doesn't blame himself either– just the complexity of navigating growth in this absurd 1984 garbage place.
bless,
